Upsher-Smith is financing a “Big Data” research entitled “The Natural History of Seizure Clusters”, based on data mining of more than 1,600,000 PRO (Patient Rerported Outcomes) records accumulated as of June 2014 by My Epilepsy Diary. Working with Stanford University investigators, Irody is developionig and applying data analysis tools to make meaning out of the vast amount of data generated by patients using the mobile epilepsy patient diary tool available on iPhone, Android and the Web since 2009.
